Maddie Astry

4-year old Maddie was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) in April. She recently completed a backpack infusion and will be entering a phase called Interim Maintenance 1 which involves two types of chemotherapy drugs that will be administered through her port once or twice a week. From her CaringBridge site, "Through it all, Maddie keeps embracing life with her bright spirit—zipping through the neighborhood on her scooter and making friends with every dog she meets. Her happiest days are always the ones when her older brother and sister are home to play by her side."

My Story

This September, I am excited to be taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for the FOURTH YEAR!

Why am I doing this challenge? Because myself and the members of Team Created to Conquer are supporting CCRF's mission to end childhood cancer and save little lives. ❤️

Why is this so important? Because over 15,700 American children are diagnosed with cancer every year.

How am I going to meet my fundraising and ride goal?

1. Jump on my bike and hit the trails with friends and family.

2. Log miles during my workouts on the stationary bike.

How can you show support?

1. Join Team Created to Conquer and contribute to the team with your own ride or fundraising goal.

2. Make a donation towards my goal if riding a bike isn't your thing.

3. Enjoy a bike ride together!
